Customer Reviews: Avantalk® Joytune Bluetooth Car Kit/ Kits with Fm Transmitter, USB Charger, iPhone 4S/ 4, 3Gs & 3G, iPod Touch 4G, BlackBerry, HTC HD 2, 7, EVO, DROID, Samsung Epic, Galaxy S II / S and All Bluetooth Stereo A2DP supported Devices

This review is from: Avantalk® Joytune Bluetooth Car Kit/ Kits with Fm Transmitter, USB Charger, iPhone 4S/ 4, 3Gs & 3G, iPod Touch 4G, BlackBerry, HTC HD 2, 7, EVO, DROID, Samsung Epic, Galaxy S II / S and All Bluetooth Stereo A2DP supported Devices (Electronics) This unit is an excellent design but it has two flaws that I dont like.

1. The frequencies are picked automatically by the device which means only 4 fixed ones. And the ones it picks are usually really close to other radio stations giving bad interference.

2. The battery I think loses some of it power while transmitting to the car radio, and after about an hour of play time the radio station starts fading and picking up a lot of white noise. I also didnt like that to use the radio feature you had to hold in on the side button to swap between phone calls being made and playing music. Seriously, I am okay with two big buttons being on the unit, one for phone calls and one for music play and pause. The audio read out of the radio station used was annoying and a digital read out of the number would have been better.

Over all the unit is a good idea. It just needs to not be so “simple” on the buttons, which makes it more complex because I have to remember what holding a button in for 1 sec, 2 sec, 4 sec, 6 sec ect does.

For the price it needs some work.

Customer Reviews: Plan-B High-End Portable Bluetooth LCD Car Kit With FM Transmitter And SD Card Reader MP3 Player – Mounts On Steering Wheel – For iPhone 4, 3Gs & 3G, iPod Touch 4G, BlackBerry, HTC HD 2, 7, EVO, DROID, Samsung Epic, Galaxy S Etc. – Black

This review is from: Plan-B High-End Portable Bluetooth LCD Car Kit With FM Transmitter And SD Card Reader MP3 Player – Mounts On Steering Wheel – For iPhone 4, 3Gs & 3G, iPod Touch 4G, BlackBerry, HTC HD 2, 7, EVO, DROID, Samsung Epic, Galaxy S Etc. – Black (Electronics) I Bought them in both colors, for mine and my wife’s car. I like the way they attach to the steering wheel and how easily it sets up. (I don’t particularly like that it stays loose, but I guess it is a safety feature) But above all I like the speaker on this thing. It really surprised me with its clarity and bass.

The noise cancellation part is also way above my expectations! My wife and I tested it by both of us using this bluetooth in our respective cars, and we really heard each other perfectly. Another thing that I like is the button that can change from FM Transmitter to Speaker mode, back and forth, in the middle of the phone call or music. So whenever I run into an area where the FM transmitter static begins, I just switch it over and continue on Speaker.

So all in all, this is a super recommendation for anyone looking for a bluetooth / FM car kit.
