This review is from: Raptor GDB1 1-4 Gauge/4-8 Guage Distribution Block (Gold) (Electronics) I bought a few of this type of Block to use in my ’57 Chevy pickup. Though it did state in the description the wire sizes it was designed for, I saw no reason it wouldn’t work with smaller wire on the distribution/outflow side. I was wrong. Not a major issue, but if you understanding wiring, connections must be tight, particularly in my case as this is still a working 1 ton(3800) wood hauler. I carry heavy loads on bumpy/rocky back roads. So I was disappointed to find the set screws were so short they would run out of threads on the block as they were tightened on 10 or 12 gauge wire. 2 mm longer set screws would solve the problem, but I live 1 1/2 hours from the hardware store. Basically I like the plastic cover and overall design as it appears durable and well protected and mounts easily under the hood.
