Pyle makes great monitors. What the PLHR79 and their other monitors gives the user in video quality for the size can’t be beat for the price.

I purchased two of the PLHR79 units through amazon.com because the description included the comment “AV Input.”

The unit has two Video Inputs, but NO AUDIO INPUT.

I imagine the PLHR79 would be great for a video only security camera input or for a back-up monitor for a Motor Coach or a Bus.

Craftsmanship is high as is all of the Pyle units I’ve seen. With my hobbies I’ve decided to keep the two PLHR79 units.

For my original needs I ended up purchasing two Haier HLT71 7-Inch Handheld LCD TV units with AV inputs. The added bonus is that the HLT71 is also a TV with an ATSC tuner.

Nothing bad to say about the Pyle monitor, it’s the listed specs that were incorrect.
