This review is from: CyberPower CPS400AI 400 Watt Power Inverter with USB Port (Lawn & Patio) Just got a chance to test this guy on a ~1,000 mile trip. Worked well, under varying temperature conditions. Like any inverter of this wattage it has a fan, and this one is loud, so I wouldn’t recommend placing it too close to the front of the car.

I’m going to pick up a low-watt silent inverter to handle what I was using this for (laptop, cell charger), and move this guy to the back of the car. Still very glad I have it.

I’ve found CyberPower to be a solid manufacturer, used their support on a different item that was annihilated by UPS and they are US based (you’re speaking to people who know the product, aren’t just subcontracted phone support) and very helpful.
