This review is from: SSL F2.800 FORCE 800W, 2 Channel MOSFET Amplifier with Remote Subwoofer Level Control (Electronics) Bought this to replace a old 2 channel Profile california amp, 16 yrs old and still working fine just ugly and beat up now. I am running the f2.800 off a Kenwwood x494 and hooked up to a old pair of JBL GT1000′s in a .88 sealed box. The setup was easy and the new amp works just fine. I do however find the sound is slightly muddy when compared to the old profile amp. This may be fixed once I readjust the low pass filter maybe not. There is no way this puts out advertised power, maybe 100×2 watts but definately not 160×2 unless this is a 90% efficent class A/B amp. For the price this amp is worth 5 stars just don’t expect this to live up to it’s advertised power rating.
